The First International Conference on Digital Preservation and Presentation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage - DiPP2011 was held from 11 to 14 September 2011 in the Regional Museum of History and the P.R. Slaveykov Regional People's Library in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. The forum was attended by 65 people, 25 papers and 8 national and international projects on digitisation and digital preservation of cultural and scientific heritage were presented. The papers were published in a volume of proceedings of the conference as well as online at the official web site of the conference: http://dipp2011.math.bas.bg. The web site also contains information on the objectives and subject areas of the conference, accompanying events, programme, programme committee, participants, etc.
